Canadian students are eligible for Canadian Federal and Provincial Loans through the Canadian Ministry of Education Student Support Branch in the province of residence.Â

St. Matthew’s offers academic merit scholarships up to $135,000 to help qualified applicants finance your education. Transfer students are eligible for $10,000 upon acceptance into the program.Â
Our MD Program
Basic SciencesÂ
The Basic Science program is five semesters in length and may be completed in 20 months.
Clinical Medicine Â
The Clinical Medicine program starts in semester six and comprises 42 weeks of core clinicals followed by 30 weeks of electives.

1. 96% Four Year Residency Placement Rate is the percent of students attaining a residency position out of all graduates or expected graduates in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 who were active applicants in the NRMP match or attained a residency outside the NRMP match.
2. First-time pass rate is the number of students passing the USMLE Step Exam on their first attempt divided by the total number of students taking the USMLE Step Exam for the first time.
